Joan Bertrand Roberts

Joanie Roberts of The Woodlands, Texas (formerly of Eunice) passed away on April 18, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was a graduate of Eunice High School and McNeese State University. She retired from Spring ISD in Texas as a special education teacher of severe and profound children.

Charles Joseph Francois Sr.

Charles Joseph Francois, Sr. passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at the age of 81. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024 at (time pending) at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in St. Paul Mausoleum.

With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Pamela Marie Fontenot on Saturday, April 13, 2024. A Mass will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile. Inurnment will follow in the St. Augustine Cemetery with Father Keenan Brown, Celebrant.

Gayle Fruge passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at the age of 70. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Chuck Ortego officiating. Cremation will follow Services.

Darwin Francis Fontenot, Sr. passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at the age of 80. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Father Hampton Davis Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Chapel Cemetery.
