Eunice Children's Mardi Gras

The Eunice Children’s Mardi Gras run was held Saturday and concluded with a parade in downtown Eunice. The Captaine of the run was Ben Fontenot. According to Robert Johnson, director of the Eunice Recreational Complex, said that there were 421 registered participants from ages 0-15 years old, 70 registered vehicles, and 24 trophies awarded for four chicken chases in six age group divisions. 15th Annual Taster's Choice

The 15th annual Taster’s Choice was held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Mumphrey Center on LSUE campus.
A large crowd attended the fundraiser. The public had the opportunity and pleasure of tasting different varieties of food, enjoy live music, and bid on a silent and live auction. This event is the biggest fundraiser for and benefitting the Eunice Community Health Center.

March for Life in Eunice

The annual Eunice Pro-Life Walk took place at noon Thursday, Jan. 22. The walk began in front of Picou’s Drug Store on North 2nd street in downtown Eunice, and concluded at the City Hall parking lot and pavilion. St. Edmund High School students, along with others, were participants.
