Louisiana Folk Roots presented a Kids Camp in Eunice at LSUE from 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. beginning Monday and it will conclude Friday.
The youth camp is designed for ages 8-14, entering 3rd grade through 9th grade. Kids and teens learned to play traditional Cajun & Zydeco music instruments and sing in French during Louisiana Folk Roots Kids Camp. There were teams of gifted Louisiana folk musicians and instructors leading activities. The week offered special activities, music classes, band labs, crafts, singing, dancing, indoor and outdoor games, and cuisine.
