Early morning shooting wounds 2

Two people were wounded in a shooting that occurred about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Sunrise Apartments on South Beulah, Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said.
One person was shot in the stomach and was transferred from Acadian Medical Center to Lafayette General.
The wound was not life-threatening,Fontenot said.
The other person suffered a grazing wound in the back and refused medical treatment, he said.
Multiple shell casings were found at the scene.
Fontenot suspects the shooting is related to local gang violence.
Few details were available Wednesday morning.
