Eunice area theft suspect caught on surveillance video

On April 5, the owner of a residence off of U.S. 190 in the Eunice area reported that she was a victim of a theft and her home security system was able to capture it.
In the video the suspect is seen laughing at the alarm company sign then ringing the doorbell. The suspect then signaled what is believed to be a female passenger to lookout for any witnesses. The suspect is described as a white male, with a muscular build, and has tattoos on his chest and arms. A possible car used in the theft is a white Kia Rondo.
Detectives are also investigating two more home burglaries on La. 357 in the Opelousas area that occurred on April 23. Stolen in the burglaries was a Coleman grill, an Emerson 19” television, an LG portable air conditioner, along with other various items. The total value loss was estimated at over $800.
