A Eunice driving instructor was found guilty last week of two counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile, St. Landry Parish court records show.
KATC reports Teddy Aguillard, 47, was the owner of Gator Driving School and Safety in Eunice when the incidents were reported to police by two of his students in 2015.
It is unclear if he is still operating the school; records at the Louisiana Secretary of State indicate the company is no longer in good standing for failing to file annual reports.
Aguillard was found guilty on Feb. 17 of the charges, court records show. His sentencing was set for March 9, the report stated.
Aguillard was accused of making lewd comments to 15- and 16-year-old female students.
At the time of his arrest, Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot said that the children came in with their parents and said Aguillard was making in appropriate comments to the students while he was supposed to be instructing them in driving.
Aguillard did not physically touch the girls, Fontenot said at the time. Aguillard was released from jail in 2015 on a $10,000 bond.
