Tips sought about stolen ATV

St. Landry Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in solving a theft of an ATV in the Eunice area.
The lead investigator is Detective Marcus Bergeron of the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office
According to a news release from Maj. Eddie Thibodeaux of Crime Stoppers, on May 1, a residence on Soileau Road reported that his 2014 John Deere Gator was stolen.
The owner stated that he parked the side by side ATV in his workshop on April 30 at around 7:30 p.m. then returned the next day at 9 a.m. and noticed it was missing.
The ATV is described as camouflage in color with an iron rack on the back used to hold a chemical sprayer. The front controller for the sprayer is located on the left side and a red hose is attached to the front. The loss of value is listed at over $14,000.
