A Crowley man was arrested as the result of an investigation into child pornography, according to a news release from Louisiana State Police Troop I.
In November 2017, Louisiana State Police Detectives initiated an investigation into the possession of child pornography in Acadia Parish. The investigation led troopers to obtain a search warrant for a computer belonging to 42-year-old Damon Broussard of Crowley.
Troopers executed a search warrant on Broussard’s computer and discovered child pornography. An arrest warrant was issued for Broussard’s arrest, charging him with 15 counts of pornography involving juveniles.
On March 19, troopers arrested Broussard and booked him into the Acadia Parish Correctional Center.
