Two suspects in an armed robbery involving a home invasion were captured in Eunice.
During a traffic stop by Eunice Police and Eunice City Marshal deputies on July 11 on La. 29, Jaylon Thomas was arrested without incident.
Thomas, 17, of the 600 block of Rozas Street, Ville Platte, was a suspect in a a home invasion that occurred in the 400 block of Sue Street in Ville Platte on July 11, according to a news release from Evangeline Parish Sheriff Eddie Soileau.
Thomas was wanted for aggravated battery and second-degree robbery.
In the home invasion three males carrying guns held the victim at gun point while a fourth male waiting the car, the sheriff’s news release stated.
The victim stated that the male subjects took several items out of his home when they found out that he did not have any money in the residence. At some point, the male subjects made the victim and his daughter get in his own personal vehicle to go get money at an ATM. Once the three male subjects found out that he had no money in the ATM, they proceeded to Abraham Avenue in the Kennedy Subdivision where they exited the vehicle and fled on foot, the news release stated.
The four males were identified as Thomas; Tron Jack, 17; Quanisky Mouton, 18; and Dalonzo Alfred, 19. All are from the the Ville Platte area.
Jack was located and detained by the Eunice Police.
As of Wednesday morning, Alfred and Mouton were at large. They are considered armed and dangerous, the news release stated.
