Teen charged in shooting

A 17-year-old juvenile was arrested with three counts of attempted first-degree murder on Dec. 8. According to Eunice Police Detective Jessica Tezeno, “Back on Sept. 4 police officers responded to the area of Ida and Tate streets in reference to a shooting.

St. Landry Parish Sheriff arrests

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. December 14 Johnathan Bourque, 34, 100 block of Wind Chime Drive, Youngsville. Possession with intent to distribute Schedule II CDS, failure to drive on right side of road, switched license plate, no insurance.

Concealed carry permit class set

The St Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office is holding a one-day concealed carry permit training class at 7:30 a.m. Dec. 17 at 211 W. Park Ave., Eunice. The course costs $100 dollars and $80 for a spouse or renewal.

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. December 13 Shuream Rubin, 22, 700 block of Augustus Street, Opelousas. Attempted second degree murder, illegal use of weapons, criminal damage to property. Arrested by Opelousas Police.
