U.S. Attorney Zachary Keller announces that Brad William Blanchard, 45, has been sentenced for attempted receipt and attempted distribution of child pornography. U.S. District Judge David C.

Arnaudville man charged with sexually assaulting juvenile

A 31-year-old Arnaudville man is charged with sexually assaulting a juvenile under the age 14. According to St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz his office was notified on Sept. 5 that the juvenile had been assaulted.

Man convicted of 6 counts of sex crimes against a juvenile

A St. Landry Parish jury returned a verdict on Nov. 13 finding Emery Savoy Jr., 58, of Opelousas, guilty of six counts of sex crimes against a juvenile.
