Crash kills Eunice man

A single-vehicle crash on La. 29 near Carl Loewer Road in St. Landry Parish took the life of 49-year-old Hubbard Arrington of Eunice, according to a news release from Louisiana State Police Troop I. The crash occurred at about 7:50 p.m. Friday.

Smell, knock and bust

Eunice Police discovered making a pot bust was easy as following their noses and knocking on the door on Wednesday. Police received a call about the odor of marijuana at the Days Inn in Eunice at about 2:30 p.m. Lt.
