The following are arrests by Eunice Police. June 18 Bridgette Denea Marcantel, 27, 300 block of Perrotti, Eunice. Motor vehicle inspection sticker expired, possession with intent to distribute Schedule I CDS, 28 grams or more, possession of drug paraphernalia.

Driver killed in single-vehicle crash in Evangeline Parish

A single-vehicle crash on La. 10 near Spring Prairie Road in Evangeline Parish claimed the life of 32-year-old Kathleen Drew of Gulf Shores, Alabama, at about 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, according to a news release Louisiana State Police Troop I.

Concealed carry class planned

The St Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office is hosting a one-day concealed carry class at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at 211 W. Park Ave., Eunice. The course is $100 dollars and $80 for an additional spouse.
