St. Landry Parish’s COVID-19 positivity rate dropped to 10.9% in the week ending Nov. 25, which was down from 11.9% for the week ending Nov. 18 and 11.1% for the week ending Nov. 11.
Golfing that had resumed at the Eunice Country Club had to be suspended for a week after a tournament was followed by a couple cases of COVID-19.
The reopening and shutdown is one of the few glitches in the city’s emergence from the coronavirus shutdown that started in March.
