Acting U.S. Attorney Alexander C. Van Hook announced that Dinah Manuel, 31, of Opelousas, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Robert R. Summerhays sentenced Manuel to 60 months in prison followed by four years of supervised release for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

Crowley man pleads guilty to taking videos of sex with minor

U.S. Attorney Stephanie A. Finley announced that a Crowley man pleaded guilty Tuesday to using his cell phone to record sex acts with a minor. Blake Damian Rodgers, 35, of Crowley, pleaded guilty before U.S. Magistrate Judge Carol Whitehurst to one count of production of child pornography.
