Aloisio, Frey exchange vows during evening ceremony

St. Michael The Archangel Catholic Church in Crowley was the setting for the evening ceremony uniting Andrea Michelle Aloisio of Lafayette and Jason Lawrence Frey of Iota in Holy Matrimony.
The evening double-ring ceremony was held on Saturday, Oct. 14 at 6:30 p.m. with Reverend Mikel Polson of St. Michael’s and Pastor Johann Sathre of Our Savior’s Church Midtown in Lafayette officiating.
The bride is the daughter of David Aloisio of Lafayette and Sara Aloisio of Lafayette.
The groom is the son of Francis and Germaine Manuel Frey of Iota.
Scripture reader was Gerard Frey, godfather of the groom. Participants during the ceremony were Angella Callahan, organist; and Joe and Joshua Stemplewski were trumpeters. “Trumpet Voluntary” was played as the bride entered the church.
The bride, given away by her father, was radiant in a satin off-the-shoulder A- line ivory gown accented with a crystal belt. Her headpiece was a finger- tip beaded edged veil. She carried a hand-held bouquet of peonies in shades of lilac and fuchsia tied with an ivory ribbon.
Serving as maid of honor was Valerie Aloisio of Lafayette, sister of the bride. Bridal attendants were Lacey Frey of Iota, sister-in-law of the groom; Fallon Mason of Fairfax, VA, life long friend of the bride; and Melanie Broussard of Iota, cousin of the groom.
The attendants wore their personal style of formal gowns in lavendar to deep purple in color. Each attendant carried a long stemmed lavendar rose accented with baby’s breath and silver ribbons.
Best man during the ceremony was Blaise Frey of Iota, brother of the bride. Groomsmen included Derek Frey, Brandon Frey, both of Iota, both brothers of the groom; Joey Aloisio of Phoenix, AZ, brother of the bride; and Mike Miller of Iota, friend of the groom. The groom wore a black tuxedo with a matching black bow tie, and a lavendar rose on the lapel accented with a silver ribbon. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos with matching black ties and the lapel had lavendar lapel roses, tied with lavendar ribbon.
All groomsmen served as ushers.
Immediately following the ceremony, a reception was held at Point-Aux-Loups Springs Ballroom in Iota. The couple took a honeymoon trip to the Carribbean. They have made their home in Lafayette.
The bride is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is employed in the marketing and public relations field.
The groom is a graduate of Iota High School, attended LSU Eunice, and is a graduate of McNeese State University where he earned a masters of business administration degree. He is employed as a program manager at Medical Resource and Guidance.
