Fontenot, Vidrine exchange vows during Nuptial Mass ceremony

St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice was the setting for the evening ceremony uniting Aungelle Leah Fontenot and Trent Collins Vidrine in Holy Matrimony.
The Nuptial Mass ceremony was held on Friday, May 26 at 7 p.m. with the Reverend Clinton Sensat and Deacon Tim Marcantel, godfather of the bride, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Kerry and Fran Fontenot of Eunice, and the groom is the son of Phil and Sheila Vidrine of Eunice.
Organist for the ceremony was Jan Pullin, and she was assisted by trumpeter Will Green.
The bride, given away by her father, was radiant in an ivory decadent lace gown accented with a light gold underlay with a two-strapped V-neckline with silver Swarovski crystals. The full-illusion creation featured a lace-back fastened with covered butons. The fit and flare formal gown was accented with a gorgeous cathedral-train and matching cathedral lace trimmed veil.
Completing the bride’s attire, as Something Old, was a garter which was made of the maternal grandmother’s vintage wedding gown and was accented with a piece of her great-grandmother’s jewelry.
Serving as matron of honor was Danielle Fontenot Turner, sister of the bride.
Bridal attendants were Allyn LaCombe, Emily Ogea, Taylor Darbonne, Sarah Thibodeaux, Amber Meaux, Caroline Frey, all of Eunice, all friends of the bride; and Preslie Vidrine of Eunice, cousin of the groom.
The attendants wore marine blue chiffon off-the-shoulder ruched bodice formal gowns.
Flower girls were Emery and Avery Vasta of Baton Rouge, daughters of Thomas and Kayla Vasta.
Serving as ring bearer was Emmett Christ of Eunice, son of Hunter Christ and Brittany Fontenot.
Best men for the ceremony were Tyler Vidrine and Travis Vidrine of Eunice, brothers of the groom.
Groomsmen were Adam Wimberly of Eunice, friend of the groom; Logan Christ of Mamou, cousin of the groom; Tyler Fontenot of Eunice, Kourt Deshotel of Eunice, Brody Olivier of Eunice, Kevin McFarlain of Eunice and Dylan Sittig of Eunice, all friends of the groom.
Both the groom and groomsmen wore a grey slim fit two-button single breasted jacket featuring a slimmer notch lapel with double-besom pockets and bone buttons. The suit included matching modern slim fit slacks, and highlighted was a matching four-button full back vest with the groomsmen wearing a peacock winsor tie and the groom wearing an ivory winsor tie.
A reception was held immediately following the ceremony at the Point-Aux-Loups-Springs Ballroom in Iota.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Cabo San Lucas, and have made their home in Eunice.
The bride is a graduate of Eunice High, LSU Eunice and McNeese State University.
The groom is a graduate of Eunice High School and LSU Eunice.
