Fusilier, Timpa exchange vows during evening ceremony

St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Lake Charles served as the setting for an evening ceremony uniting Jenna Laine Fusilier and John Paul Timpa II in Holy Matrimony.
The ceremony was held at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14 with the Reverend Keith Pellerin officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Patrick and Renee’ Fusilier of Eunice, and the groom is the son of Charles and Lisbeth “Libby” Timpa of Lake Charles.
The bride’s grandparents are the late Ernest Manuel of Eunice, the late Betty Butler Thibodeaux of Eunice, and the late Levin and Jessie Lou Fusilier of Basile. The honorary grandparents are Bob and Anita Butler, maternal great uncle and aunt.
The groom’s grandparents are Mrs. Camille Timpa of Lake Charles, the late John Paul Timpa of Lake Charles, and the late Herman and Viola Walton of Lake Charles.
The church featured decorations of textured green foliage accented with white hydrangeas and thistle.
Organist during the ceremony was Jason Liles, with vocalist Beau Moss.
The bride, given away by her father, was stunning in a fitted gown of ivory lace and light gold satin underlay. The gown featured lace appliques highlighted by decadent lace and swarovski crystals.
Her headpiece included a finger-tip veil accented with scalloped edging and crystals. She carried a cascade bouquet of textured lush green foliage with white roses and twinkles of crystals from antique brooches sprinkled within the creation.
Maid of honor was Chelsie Morein of Lake Charles. Matron of honor was Caroline Brown Fusilier of Baton Rouge, sister in law of the bride.
Bridal attendants were Sydney Kaspar of Lake Charles, Rebekah Hoffpauir of Lake Charles, Elizabeth Anne Hoffpauir of Lake Charles, Abby LaCombe Saucier of Eunice, and Amanda Adams of Lake Charles.
The attendants wore floor-length emerald green chiffon gowns. They carried bouquets of lush textured green with jewel tone hues of lavendar, blue and purple.
Serving as flower girl was Isabel Rose Jenkins, daughter of Phillip and Laurel Jenkins. She wore an ivory satin gown with an emerald green sash. She carried a simple nosegay bouquet.
Best man during the ceremony was Charles “Trey” Timpa III, brother of the groom.
Groomsmen included Avery “Trey” Cook III, Andrew Steven Cook, Robert Allen Stone Crowe, Christopher Sterling Dickson, and Joshua Aaron Bradley, all friends of the groom.
Ring bearer was Andrew Joseph Rybiski.
Ushers during the ceremony were Jacob Brice Fusilier, Kyle Logan Fusilier, brothers of the bride, Bobby H. Holland Jr., cousin of the groom, and Grant Anthony Gutierrez.
A reception was held at the Lake Charles Country Club.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Walt Disney World and Universal Studios in Orlando.
The bride is a graduate of Eunice High and is employed at the Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. The groom is a graduate of Barbe High School in Lake Charles and is employed at the First Federal Bank of Louisiana in Lake Charles.
The couple have made their home in Lake Charles.
