Drug bust nets 3 arrests

About 2.5 pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of $20,000 was seized as a search warrant was executed in the 200 block of North Street and on South Mallet Street, according to Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot.
The bust, which occurred about 11 a.m. Tuesday, resulted in three arrests.
Fontenot, in a news release, said. Eunice Police were assisted by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office SWAT team and Eunice City Marshal and his deputies.
The officers were searching for stolen firearms and illegal narcotics.
Delridge Robinson, 22, of Eunice, who was charged with possession with intent to distribute Schedule 1 drugs, which was about 2.5 pounds of marijuana, and illegal carrying of weapons in the presence of a controlled drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Also arrested in this case was Jeddimyer Vallier, 28, of Eunice on an active warrant for St. Landry Sheriff Office, and Charles Wesley, 27, of Eunice on an active money warrant for Eunice City Court.
Weapons were also recovered and seized during the search along with more than $1,000 in cash, Fontenot said.
