Trailer fire reported at Eunice Walmart parking lot Sunday

According to Eunice Fire Chief Michael Arnold three units with 19 fire fighters reported to a fire in the parking lot of Walmart in Eunice Sunday afternoon at approximately 5:09 p.m.
Reported was a box trailer hooked up to a truck, and the trailer was on fire. “The box trailer contained lawn equipment, and a nearby car sustained some heat damage.”
“No injuries were reported, although the owner of the truck and trailer was checked for smoke inhalation,” said Arnold.
The cause of the fire is undetermined.
