Madelynn Hazelton Alexis Ray and Dalton Hazelton of Turkey Creek announce the birth of their daughter, Madelynn Grace Hazelton, born at Acadian Medical Center on Sept. 27 weighing 6 pounds and 10 ounces. Maternal grandparents are Crystal Hebert and Kelly Hebert.

St. Edmund High students celebrate homecoming week

Students at St. Edmund High School are celebrating homecoming week with dress up days. Monday was Camouflage Day, Tuesday was Duo/Trio Day, Wednesday was Color Day, Thursday students dressed as Heroes or Royalty/Villains, and Friday students will be dressed in traditional Blue-Jay blue and white.

How to take a more active role in your health

The role individuals play in their own health care became more prominent in 2020. As a global pandemic forced people from all walks of life to prioritize their personal health each time they left their homes, many individuals sought ways to take a more active role in their health care.

New club at Eunice High

Eunice High social studies teacher Shelby Durgan recently started TCG, The Gaming Club, at Eunice High. TCG gives students who share a common interest, trading card games like Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh, the chance to come together twice a month to share in their hobby.
