The Eunice Bulb & Blossom Garden Club chose the Eunice Housing Authority at 331 Mill for its Business Garden of the Month. The business features flowering landscaping beds of dyamchia, pansies, gladiolius, and lilies. Angelia Guillory is the executive director at the Eunice Housing Authority.

East Elementary second grade students in Cindy Feucht’s science class are busy learning about science. Students made different mixtures using water, gelatin, flour, corn syrup and cornstarch to make glue. They then tested the strength of each glue they created.

Easton Celestine Candy and Richard Celestine announce the birth of their son, Easton James Celestine, born at Acadian Medical Center on Feb. 22 weighing 7 pounds and 14.8 ounces. Maternal grandparents are Tammy and Harris Kratzer. Paternal grandparents are Raymond and Laura Celestine.
