DOTD announces closure for Maple Avenue bridge replacement

The closure of Maple Avenue, La. 91, for the removal and replacement of the bridge is scheduled from Jan. 16 to Aug. 31, according to an announcement by the state Department of Transportation and Development.
The closure is dependent on weather.
The bridge replacement work will begin following the completion of the removal of the bridge at that intersection.
The bridge is east of Bobcat Drive.
Traffic will be detoured to La 13 and U.S. 190 during the closure. The detour will be posted.
