During the February meeting of the Bulb & Blossom Garden Club, members expressed their yearning for spring by adorning hats of various shapes and sizes with assorted flowers and butterflies. There was a barbecue burger fundraiser sale to benefit the LSUE Women’s Basketball team. The luncheon fundraiser was held at the VFW Hall on Bobcat Drive on Feb. 21. Coach Jamel Samuels extended a “Thank you” to the community of Eunice for supporting the team, and gave a special “Thank you” to the Eunice Community Health Clinic and Glynn Michaud.
