The farmers market on Park Ave. and 2nd Street had a successful Saturday, providing shoppers with fresh honey, peppers, canned jams, jellies, pickles and other homemade goods. The market is available year-round on Wednesdays from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.

LSUE continues growth, sets Fall enrollment record

Louisiana State University Eunice is welcoming another record student population to campus with 4,698 students enrolled for the Fall 2026 semester.  It is the first time in school history that LSUE has a student enrollment of more than 4,000. LSU Eunice’s fall student enrollment of 4,698 is a 22.
