French Table at Le Vieux Village
The French Table at Le Vieux Village will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.. Feb 27 in the Whiteville School House at Le Vieux Village, 828 E. Landry St., in Opelousas.
French speaker of all dialects are welcome. The French Table happens every last Wednesday of the month at Le Vieux Village.

COA annual Mardi Gras dance set
The St. Landry Council on Aging, Inc. will have its annual Mardi Gras dance from 1 to 3:30 p.m. March 4 at the Northwest Center in Eunice.
Music will be provided by Big J & the Zydeco Dog Pound,
Admission is $2 for age 60 and over. Anyone under 60 admission is $5.
There will be judging for Mardi Gras King & queen, the most traditional costume and the best male and female dancer.

Acadia Parish sheriff plans coffee session
Acadia Parish Sheriff K.P. Gibson is inviting everyone to Coffee with the Sheriff at 8 a.m. Saturday at C’est Bon Restaurant in Mermentau.
Gibson will give an update on the office’s progress. He will have a question and answer session during the event for residents.
