Crime Stoppers seeks information about Eunice shooting

St. Landry Crime Stoppers and the Eunice Police Department are asking for the public’s help in locating the persons involved in shooting at a Eunice Police officer’s home.
On Aug. 30, an off-duty officer was in his home on Halsey Street when he heard two to three gunshots. The investigation revealed that at least one bullet hit the north side of his home. Video surveillance captured a dark-colored sedan leaving the scene on MaCarthur Street at 9:40 p.m.
Efforts are underway to enhance the video.
