St. Landry Parish President Jessie Bellard said, “We are prepared for the worst and hoping for the best” as Hurricane Ida approached. As Ida made landfall Sunday in southeast Louisiana hammering Grand Isle and everything north of there, St. Landry got the best of the storm. “We did great.
