U.S. representative town hall meeting site changed

U.S. Rep. Mike Johnson, R-Benton, will host a town hall from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the Armand Brinkhaus Community Library, 235 Marie St.,Sunset. Security will be present at the town hall event. No signs or obstructions will be permitted inside. Johnson is serving his first term in the U.S.

Triad workshop to be held Wednesday in Eunice

A Triad workshop is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the VFW, 3809 US-190, Eunice. The workshop includes live music, door prizes from local merchants, health care providers, guest speakers and lunch. The day is completed with games of bingo for more prizes.
