Ministry seeks caps for children

By Randy Miller In the rural villages of Guatemala the needs of the children are very great. I work with the Animal Project of Mission Housing Ministries Inc. While serving in that capacity I have learned of many needs of these people.

Former Eunice resident leads police on high-speed chase

A Eunice Police officer planned to stop the car and give the driver a warning for not having his headlights on, Police Chief Randy Fontenot said. Sunset occurs a few minutes after 5 p.m. and it was 5:30 p.m. Saturday when the officer attempted to make the stop at South East Street and U.S. 190.

Steven Glynn Hoffpauir

Steven Glynn Hoffpauir Sr. passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2017, at the age of 57. No services have been scheduled at this time. Steven is survived by his wife; Cynthia Hoffpauir of Eunice, four sons; Steven Hoffpauir Jr. of Crowley, La.
