LBI arrests Opelousas man on 38 counts of child sexual abuse materials

Attorney General Liz Murrill’s Louisiana Bureau of Investigation agents have arrested an Opelousas man for 38 counts of child sexual abuse materials under the age of 13.

Sheriff’s Office conducts raid on cockfighting event

About 60 people were detained and at least one man was arrested following a St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office raid on a major cockfighting event in the parish.
