SU Ag Center set to host its 2021 Youth Expo on July 30

The Southern University Ag Center will host its 2021 Youth Expo themed, “Nurturing the Minds of Young Leaders,” on July 30. The free youth event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Felton G. Clark Activity Center on the campus of Southern University.

Karl “Wayne” Vidrine gained his heavenly wings at the age of 77 on Monday, July 5, 2021 after a battle with cancer. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice with Pastor Jamie Tyler officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.
