Parish nursing home has most deaths in state

The J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home in Arnaudville reports the most COVID-19 deaths of any nursing home in the state. On Monday, the Louisiana Department of Health released COVID-19 data from the state’s licensed nursing homes.

House panel rejects mail-in ballots for all voters

Tri-Parish schools to share in $41.9M for school improvement

Tri-Parish schools are to receive a share of $41.9 million in federal funding to help struggling schools. A committee of the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education (BESE) Tuesday approved allocations to improve over 500 struggling schools across the state.
