Trooper, motorist injured in St. Landry Parish crash

Louisiana State Police Troop I continues to investigate the July 16 serious injury crash involving a trooper on U.S. 190 in Opelousas.
The preliminary investigation revealed a trooper was investigating a prior two-vehicle crash near the intersection on U.S. 190 and La. 104.

Eight Cleco volunteers from the Acadiana region were at the Eunice Community Garden Wednesday from 9 until 11 a.m.
The event was part of Cleco’s Done In A Day program where Cleco volunteers work on a project in the company’s service territory that can be completed in a few hours.
