Early voting continues on Monday Early voting for the Dec. 7 election continues through Nov 30, excluding Thanksgiving and Nov. 29, which is observed as Acadian Day, according to Byron Stelly, St. Landry Parish registrar of voters. Voting hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

State Police continue investigation into fatal crash on I-49

Louisiana State Police Troop I was called to investigate a two-vehicle fatality crash on Interstate 49 about 3 miles south of La. 106 shortly after 10 p.m. Nov. 19. The crash resulted in one fatality, with the victim’s identity pending forensic identification.
