Arrest made in fatal hit-and-run wreck

A 34-year-old Washington man has been arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash on Jan. 26, a Louisiana State Police Troop I news release reports. Ryan Scott Soileau was charged with negligent homicide and hit and run. He booked into the St. Landry Parish Jail. Shortly after 8:30 p.

Driver, 23, dies in single-vehicle wreck on I-10 in Acadia Parish

Shortly after 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Louisiana State Police Troop I was notified of a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 near mile marker 78. The crash took the life of 23-year-old Adrian Rubio Pascual of Iowa, Louisiana.

EUNICE–It is with heavy hearts that the family of Loretta Pitre Fruge announces her passing at the Acadian Medical Center in Eunice on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at the age of 81. A Celebration of Life to honor Loretta will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m.

Bulb & Blossom meeting set Tuesday The Bulb & Blossom Garden Club of Eunice will hold its next meeting at 5:30 p.m. March 5 at the home of Fran Guillory. Refreshments will be served at 5:30 p.m. following by a meeting at 6 p.m. “Composting and Earthworms” will be the topic of the program.
