Free Fraud Prevention at library set Tuesday There will be a free Fraud Prevention presentation at the Eunice Public Library from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9 with a social hour and refreshments to follow. The presentation will be presented by Kip Bertrand of the Washington State Bank.

The wife and children of Stephen William Chambliss announce his sudden and peaceful death on Sunday, November 23, 2025, while asleep off watch, and away at work on the water. He was 67. A private service was held in Steve’s honor at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice, Louisiana.

EUNICE- It is with heavy hearts that the family of Linda Edmonds Johnson announces her passing on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Savoy Care Center in Mamou at the age of 77. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2025, in the Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice.
