Ronald H. Aguillard

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Ronald H. Aguillard on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the age of 88. Ronnie was born on May 29, 1934 in Eunice. He was born on his father’s birthday, the late Roderick Aguillard Sr.

Dorothy Leavings Gallow

EUNICE-Funeral services for Dorothy Leavings Gallow, 85, will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. with the visitation beginning at 5 p.m. at New Zion Baptist Church in Eunice. Rev. Allen Ben will officiate the funeral ceremony. The committal service will be at 9 a.m.

Gloria Helen Johnson Vallare

EUNICE-Funeral services for Gloria Helen Johnson Vallare, will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 11 a.m. with the visitation beginning at 9 a.m. at New Zion Baptist Church in Eunice. Rev. Jermaine Tezeno will officiate the funeral ceremony. Burial will be in Eunice North (Honeybee) Cemetery.

EUNICE–With heavy hearts the family of Mary Alice Guillory announces her passing on Monday, June 27, 2022 in the comfort of her home with loving family by her side at the age of 84. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2 p.m.

John Allen DeBarge Sr.

EUNICE–With great sadness the family announces the passing of John Allen DeBarge, Sr, our loving father, grandfather and friend to all whose lives he touched, on June 25, 2022. He was 89. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Ardoin’s Funeral Home Chapel in Eunice.

The following are arrests reported by the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office. June 25-27 Lawrence ONeil Chenier, 38, 1800 block of Highway 749, Opelousas. Aggravated assault with a firearm, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm with obliterated numbers, assault.

Eunice Police Arrests report

The following are arrests by Eunice Police. June 23 Dustin Ross Gotreaux, 35, 100 block of Shelton Loop, Eunice. One count of second degree murder, one count of illegal carrying of a weapon. Michael B. Broussard, 41, 200 block of Dulles, Eunice.
