Julien Stanford passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the age of 67. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice with Reverend Don Stanford officiating. Burial will follow in Kie Hebert Memorial Cemetery in Roberts Cove.

EUNICE-It is with the heavy hearts that the family of Dorothy Lee Fontenot announces her passing on Saturday, December 25, 2021, at the age of 90. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church.

Eunice Police responded to two shootings Monday evening. According to Eunice Police Chief Randy Fontenot, “The first shooting was called in at 7:21 p.m. having occurred at an apartment complex on Mayers Street.
