Patsy Ruth Gil Fontenot passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at the age of 83. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Father Hampton Davis celebrant. Entombment will follow in St. Paul Mausoleum.

Loretta Romain Cormier passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the age of 72. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Robert Pitre

Robert Pitre passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021 at the age of 64. No Services have been planned. Robert is survived by one brother, Huey Fontenot and one sister, Gwen Fontenot. He was preceded in death by his father, Curley J. Pitre and his mother, Aline Berzas Fontenot.

Samuel Jonas Stagg Jr. M.D. died peacefully on September 2, 2021, in Fairhope, Alabama, where he lived for three years with his daughter, Nancy, her husband, Paul, and his grandchildren, Lily and Emmie. Dr. Stagg felt blessed to live and die among Nancy’s loving family.
