Lillie Ann Fontenot passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at the age of 77. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Sal Istre celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

EUNICE–On Saturday, July 31, 2021, Dorothy Frey Myers, a devoted mother, grandmother and friend passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 89. A Celebration of Dorothy’s life is pending. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Melissa Ann Vasseur passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at the age of 63. A Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice. Burial will follow in Reed Cemetery in Mamou. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m.

David “Blake” Veillon passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at the age of 40. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 2, 2021 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice with Reverend Joshua Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Ashford Cemetery.

Wilda Rose Klumpp Fontenot

EUNICE–Wilda Rose Klumpp Fontenot, age 66, died peacefully Wednesday, July 28 at Opelousas General surrounded by family and friends. Wilda was born January 26, 1955 to the late Raymond and Mabel Klumpp of Tepetate. Wilda graduated from Basile High School in 1973.
