It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Ella Daigle Cheeks, a native of Eunice, Louisiana and a resident of Thomaston, Georgia, passed away at her residence, October 12, 2024. She was a 1963 graduate of Charles Drew High School and attended Southern University.

The family of Isaac “Jack” Jackson Burson Jr. shares the passing of Jack on Monday, October 28, 2024 at the age of 85. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Eunice with Father Hampton Davis Celebrant.
