Thomas James Pappillion passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at the age of 65. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Annunciation Catholic Church with Father Blaine Clement Celebrant. Burial will follow in Ceaser Cemetery.

The life of Dallas came to an end on May 24, 2024. Dallas was a 1971 Eunice High graduate. He lived an adventurous life after he left Eunice, LA moving from several states until finally settling down in Houston, Texas where he lived out his days. Dallas returns home to be laid to rest at Mt.

‘Lapin’ Bertrand remembered

John “Lapin” Winston Bertrand passed away on Thursday, July 4, at the age of 80. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Thomas Chapel with Father Corey Lavergne as celebrant. Burial followed in St. Paul Cemetery.

Lessie Lee Fontenot, Jr., known affectionately as Sonny, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024 at his home surrounded by family and loved ones at the age of 76. No Services will be held in accordance with Sonny’s wishes. A Celebration of Life with loved ones will be planned at a later date.
