Linda Gail Deshotel Miller passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at the age of 70. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Father Sam Fontana officiating. Burial will follow in St. Edward’s Cemetery.

St. Martinville–A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at St. Martin De Tours Catholic Church for Henri Clay Bienvenu, 82, who died on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Iberia Medical Center surrounded by his family.

Marvin Guy Newsom, Jr., an ultimate family man, was called to the Lord on Oct. 17, 2023. Guy was born to Marvin Guy Newsom, Sr., and Betty Jean (Manley) Newsom on Sept. 10, 1952, in Kermit, Texas. The Newsom family soon settled in Mamou, Louisiana.

EUNICE–It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of Jenora “Jen” Brown Nagata on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023. She peacefully left this world at Eunice Manor Nursing Home at the age of 94. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
