EUNICE – It is with great sadness that the family of Ellen Long announces her passing on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Eunice Manor Nursing Home in Eunice. She was 82. A Chapel Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice.

Todd Anthony Fruge

Todd Anthony Fruge passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2013 at the age of 46. No Services have been planned at this time.

Philip Belton

Philip Belton passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at the age of 72. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Basile with Father Keenan Brown Celebrant. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery.

Betty Jean Young Leger

EUNICE–It is with heavy hearts that the family of Betty Jean Young Leger announces her passing on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Eunice Manor Nursing Home at the age of 92. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church in Eunice on Tuesday, September 19, 2023.

Carl Jeter

Breaux Bridge–A Memorial Service will be held at a later date for Karl Jeter, 69, who passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Camelot of Broussard Nursing Home.  Karl was born on August 14, 1954, in Houston, Texas. He was the second of two children of John Jeter and Ethel Stoops Jeter.

B. I. Moody III, renowned businessman and philanthropist, dies at age 97

CROWLEY - A Requiem Mass will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 2 p.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Crowley for Braxton Isham Moody III, 97, who passed away peacefully at his family home surrounded by his children on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. The Very Reverend Msgr.

Michael Brunet

EUNICE– It is with the heaviest hearts that the family of Michael K. Brunet announces his passing on the evening of Monday, September 11, 2023, at the Basile Care Center at the age of 74. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 11 a.m.

Getty Eval

Getty Eval passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at the age of 84. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.

Frederick "Freddy" Regan

We regret to announce the passing of Frederick “Freddy” Regan, a beloved father, grandfather, and brother. Frederick was born on April 15, 1938, and he left this world on September 7, 2023. In celebration of Frederick’s life, a visitation event will be held on September 11 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
