EUNICE–IT is with heavy hearts that the family of Richard Soileau announces his passing on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 with loving family by his side in the comfort of his home. He was 73. Richard donated his body to Tulane Medical Center. Richard was born on June 29, 1949 to Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Soileau.

It is with great sadness that the family of Douglas Bellard announces his passing on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 6:32 p.m. at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley. He was 89. A celebration of life will be celebrated on Saturday, March 11 at 10 a.m. at St. Mathilda Catholic Church in Eunice.

Joachim ‘Jon’ Fels, born January 19, 1936 in Halle, Germany, peacefully left his earthly home on the 12th day of February, 2023 in Baton Rouge, LA., surrounded by his loved ones. Jon’s childhood years in wartime Germany left him fatherless at age 7.
