The Eunice Community Garden had its first ever Christmas Festival Thursday evening. The Christmas festive-lighted family oriented event was free to the public.
Hundreds of people, with their families, were seen on the grounds of the Eunice Community Garden and Sensory Garden enjoying all the different fun activities, festivities, games, and refreshments. Some of the refreshments included hot cocoa, hot dogs, gumbo, popcorn and drinks.

The 22nd annual Noel on the Prairie Holiday Shopping Spree was held Saturday and Sunday in Eunice. Over 30 Eunice businesses and merchants opened their shops for holiday shopping and offered discounts for shoppers. Shoppers had a chance to register for a chance to win two gift drawings valued at over $1,000 each. A crowd enjoyed the weekend of shopping. (Photos by Myra Miller)
