The annual St. Landry Parish Council on Aging Mardi Gras Dance was held Monday at the Northwest Community Center. Seniors enjoyed a live band by Big J & The Zydeco Dog Pound and danced to Zydeco and traditional Cajun music.
Seniors were also participants and competed for different coveted trophy titles, including, The Best Female and Best Male Dancers, King and Queen, The Most Original Costume, and The Most Prettiest Costume.
