Church Point Police are seeking the public’s assistance regarding a Dec. 21, 2018, shooting which occurred at the Martin Luther King Park at 5:25 p.m.
Officers discovered that two people were shot during a robbery. Both victims received non-life threatening injuries.
A juvenile suspect has been arrested.
However Church Point Police need help to locate Joseph Casey Wilridge. Wilridge is a 17-year-old black male, 6’1” in height, weighing 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. His last known address is 522 Joseph St. in Church Point. Wilridge is wanted for principal to attempted first-degree murder and armed robbery.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Wilridge is urged to call the tips line at 789-TIPS or down load the P3 app on sa mobile device to report a tip anonymously.
All callers will remain anonymous and can receive up to a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest in this case.
