Call about threats ends with drug bust

A call to Eunice Police about a subject threatening people with a firearm at a residence, turned into a drug bust on Friday.

Unrestrained man succumbs to injuries sustained in Acadia Parish crash

At 1:25 a.m. on Jan. 8, troopers from Louisiana State Police Troop I were notified of a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 at the Trumps Road overpass near exit 72 (Egan exit) in Acadia Parish. The crash took the life of 71-year-old Bernard Bush of Washington.

Youngsville man busted for $22.5K worth of meth

A Youngsville man was busted on Interstate 49 after about a half pound of methamphetamine was found in his vehicle on Dec. 15, according to a news release from St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz.

Meth valued at $23K seized in arrests

Crystal methamphetamine valued at $23,000 was seized in the arrest of two men on Dec. 15, according to a news release from St.Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby Guidroz on Tuesday. St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office narcotics detectives attempted a traffic stop on a white Toyota Tundra on Dec. 15.
