Arnaudville motorcyclist dies in single-vehicle crash

At approximately 4:45 a.m. on Jan. 1, troopers from Louisiana State Police Troop I began investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash involving a motorcycle that occurred on La. 3039 near Grand Bois Road in St. Martin Parish. The crash took the life of 35-year-old Aaron S. Miller of Arnaudville.

Deputy charged in bar rampage

A St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s deputy who went on a New Year’s Day rampage at a bar in the Eunice area has been charged and resigned, according to Sheriff Bobby Guidroz.
